Our local neighbourhood team were out on foot patrol across the city centre last week and into the weekend. Here's some of what they got up to: Officers were joined by the High Sheriff of Norfolk (pictured above) on foot patrols, where they discussed retail crime and anti-social behaviour in the city.During patrols (4 Sept), officers arrested a woman in her 30s on Eastbourne Place and a man in his 30s on Haymarket for breaching a Section 35 dispersal order, which directs individuals to leave an area to prevent further issues. Both have since been charged.A man in his 40s was also arrested on Clarkson Road and has since been charged in connection with 10 shop thefts and a racially aggravated public order offence.Officers arrested a man in his 40s on White Lion Street (5 Sept), who has since been charged in connection with two shop thefts and an assault (ABH) following two incidents reported at a shop on Westwick Street earlier last week.During evening patrols in Haymarket, two teenagers were issued with dispersal orders under Section 35 powers.While on foot patrol in Prince of Wales Road, officers arrested a man in his 50s for breaching a Criminal Behaviour Order.A reminder that our next Safer Neighbourhood Meeting takes place tomorrow (Tuesday 8 September) at 6pm at Norwich Central Baptist Church.
